Local Zoning Board hearing for Oct. 21

Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment Board meetings will be hosted on Zoom and streamed on YouTube Live on the Pittsburgh City Planning YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/user/planpghvideo.

To provide public comment:

Join the virtual meeting and use raise hand function to speak. Call into the meeting on a telephone and use raise hand function by pressing *9 to request to speak. Those who wish to provide testimony this way, should register in advance by emailing zoningboard@pittsburghpa.gov to ensure that they are provided time to speak.

Zone case 205/21 on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 9:00 a.m. is the appeal of Kayla Grenek, applicant, and McKnight River Walk LP, owner, for 319 E. Carson Street, in the 17th Ward (Zoning District RIV-IMU).

Applicant requests use of 1,160 sq. ft. painted wall sign on entirety of easterly side of one-story structure.

Variances: 919.03.M.5 (a): Maximum permitted sign area is 80 sq. ft., 1,160 requested; Maximum permitted height above grade is 20’, 21.72’ requested; Maximum permitted letter height is 4’, heights up to 15.52’ requested.
