The following are the Part I crimes for the week of: Jan. 29 to Feb. 4.

Duquesne Heights (1911) - Nothing to report (NTR)

Mt. Washington (1903, 1914, 1915, 1807)

Theft – 200 blk. Shiloh St. – 2/4/18 at 1 AM – Victim reported she had placed her phone on a counter/table top at a local business. She later noticed it had been taken. The iPhone 6 is valued at $600.

Theft – 300 blk. S. 28th St. – 2/3/18 at 4:26 AM – A security guard reported a white male (28-38 years old, medium build, 180 pounds, 5'9", light complexion, wearing a black jacket, black pants, & black shoes) took a hammer and forced entry into a vending machine. The suspect then steals the money from the machine. The amount of loss is unknown at this time.

Stolen vehicle – 100 Boggs Ave. - between 2/1/18 at 9 PM and 12:15 AM on 2/2/18 - Victim reported her white 2006 Mercury Montego with PA plate KLX6440 was stolen.

Theft – 600 blk. Griffin St. - between 11/17/17 at 10 AM and 11/17/17 at 3 PM – Victim reported someone had stolen her check and cashed it. The amount of loss is $114.13.

Theft – 500 blk. Kathleen St. - between 1/27/18 at 9 AM and 1/29/18 at 10 AM – Victim reported a known person has her property. The amount of loss is unknown.

South Shore (1921)

Theft from vehicle – 100 blk. E. Carson St. - 1/30/18 between 10:40 AM and 11:20 PM – Victim reported her front driver's side window was smashed out and her Costco card and cell phone charger had been stolen from her vehicle. Amount of loss is over $20.

Bon Air (1806) - NTR

South Side Slopes (1706, 1608)

Stolen vehicle – 1800 blk. Arlington Ave. - 2/3/18 at 5:40 PM – Victim called to report she was "warming up" her vehicle when someone stole her black 2006 Chrysler 300 with PA plate HWD7505.

Theft from vehicle – 2400 blk. Patterson St. - between 1/29/18 at 9:30 PM and 1/30/18 at 8AM – Victim reported a MacBook Pro, Dell laptop, & their charging cords stolen from her vehicle. Amount of loss is unknown.

Burglary – 100 blk. S. 3rd. St. - between 1/27/18 at noon and 1/29/18 at 5 AM – Victim reported someone entered the building broke out two windows and poured yellow paint out of the broken windows. It is unknown home the person gained entry.

Theft from vehicle – 1600 blk. Arlington Ave. - 1/29/18 at 8 PM – Victim reported he went inside a local business and when he returned his Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime had been stolen. The amount of loss is unknown.

South Side Flats (1609 & 1702)

Stolen vehicle – 1900 blk. Sarah St. – between 2/1/18 at 10:30 PM and 2/2/18 at 1:15 PM – Victim reported his black 2010 Mazda 3 with PA plate JFS8819 had been stolen.

Theft – S. 18th St. & E. Carson St. - 2/4/18 at 2:41 AM – Victim reported he lost his firearm while in the South Side and was not sure how he lost it. Officers checked the area but could not locate the Taurus Slim 9mm with black finish. The amount of loss is unknown.

Stolen vehicle – S. 19th St. & Sarah St. - between 2/1/18 at 11 PM and 2/2/18 at 11 AM – Victim reported his gray 2005 GMC Envoy with PA plate FVW0627 had been stolen.

Theft from vehicle –100 blk. S. 14th St. - between 2/2/18 at 7:30 PM and 2/3/18 at 10:47 AM – Victim reported someone stole his right rear tire off of his vehicle. Amount of loss is $200.

Theft – 1100 blk. E. Carson St. - 2/2/15 at 9:15 PM – Victim reported his Oakley yellow & blue backpack, text book, Nintendo Switch, wallet, cash, credit card & debit card where stolen while at a local business. Amount of loss is over $60.

Theft from vehicle – E. Carson St. & S. 9th St. - 2/4/18 between 9 AM and 3 PM – Victim reported his rear passenger side tire had been stolen. The amount of loss is unknown.

Theft – 2600 blk. Sidney St. - 2/4/18 at 5:38 AM – An employee reported a white male with a medium build and light complexion wearing a black & yellow baseball cap attempted to steal money from the vending machines and kiosk. Amount of loss is unknown.

Aggravated assault – 1000 blk. E. Carson St. - 2/1/18 at 1:35 AM – Victim reported an unknown male punched him in the mouth resulting in damaged and missing teeth. The victim described the suspect as a white male, 25-30 years old, 5'10", 160 pounds, small build, short brown hair, beard, wearing blue jeans, white jacket, & white shoes. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Theft by deception – 1000 blk. E. Carson St. - 1/14/18 at midnight – An employee for a local business reported a delivery was made but the credit card company has taken the money back.

Theft by deception – 1000 blk. E. Carson St. -12/6/18 at 2:16 AM – An employee for a local business reported a order delivered and the credit card company had withdrawn the money.

Robbery – 100 blk. S. 18th St. - 1/31/18 at 12:09 AM – Officers responded to a local business for a robbery. An employee stated a white male (38-43 years old, 160 pounds, 5'7", & small build) asked for 2 cartons of cigarettes and ripped them out of the employee's hand without paying for them. Amount of loss is $162.77.

Burglary – 2500 blk. Sarah St. - 1/31/18 between 9 AM and 4 PM – Victim reported arriving home and finding her door open. Officers arrived and observed pry marks to the door. The victim's discovered several items had been stolen. The items are: Epiphone Les Paul guitar, Stratocaster guitar, Dillon guitar, guitar cases, Nikon D7100 & D7000 cameras, cash, Invicta watch, Canon camera, a ring, gold pollar coin, gold piece, $5 gold piece, & vehicle key fob. Amount of loss is $10,700.

Theft from vehicle – 100 blk. S. 26th St. - 1/29/18 at 9 PM – Victim reported after attending a service she found her passenger front window and lunch bag had been stolen from her vehicle. Amount of loss is unknown.

Stolen vehicle – 1800 blk. Jane St. - 1/29/17 at 5 PM – Victim reported his burgundy 2014 Honda Civic had been stolen with PA plate KLL9267.

Theft from vehicle – 2000 blk. Mary St. - 1/30/18 at 6:30 AM – Victim reported someone broke the front passenger side window out of her vehicle and stole her Nylon Tote bag. The bag was later recovered.

Burglary – 1700 blk. Larkins Way - 1/27/18 between 2 AM and 8 AM – Victim woke up and found her bag laying on the table and the belongings scattered. Victim discovered her MacBook Retina had been stolen along with the power cord and her cash was stolen too. Amount of loss is $1,632. There was no signs of forced entry.

Theft from vehicle – 400 blk. Althea St. - between 1/31/18 at 11 AM and 2/1/18 at 8:50 AM – Victim reported $3 in change was stolen from her vehicle.

Carrick (2901, 2902, 2904)

Theft – 1800 blk. Brownsville Rd. – 2/4/18 between 8 AM and 2 PM – Victim reported a known person took cash and a bank card from her home. The amount of loss is $200.

Criminal trespass – 1200 blk. Amanda St. – 2/3/18 at 6:30 PM – Victim observed a known person break into her home. Officers are apply for a warrant.

Theft – 300 blk. Meredith St. – 2/3/18 at 10:20 PM – Victim's vehicle was stolen while it was left "running" while he was inside. His friend called to report his vehicle was involved in an accident down the street. The vehicle was a red Lincoln MKX SUV. The vehicle was recovered on scene.

Burglary – 1000 blk. Brownsville Rd. - on 2/4/18 between 10:15 AM and 3 PM – Victim reported his LG 55" TV valued at $750 had been stolen from his home. The victim also observed entry into the home was made through a window.

Burglary – 100 blk. Madeline St. - 2/2/18 at 6:11 PM – Property owner arrived and found items stolen from his garage. The items were a Kenmore washer, Kenmore dryer, Panasonic 52" flat screen TV, 32" TV, red Craftsman toolbox and small Snap-on toolbox. Amount of loss is over $6,100.

Theft – 100 blk. Birmingham Ave. - between 1/28/18 at noon and 2/1/18 at 4 PM – Victim reported someone stole his debit and social security card out of his wallet. Amount of loss is unknown.

Theft – Spokane Ave. & Sinton Ave. - between 1/30/18 at 9 PM an 1/31/18 at 10:40 AM – An employee of a service provide was responding to an outage and observed 100' of copper cable had been stolen.

Knoxville (3001)

Robbery – 100 blk. Charles St. - 2/2/18 at 4:50 AM – Victim reported a known person entered through an unlocked door and forcibly took her phone (Galaxy ON5) from her hand. The known person then left. Officers have applied for a warrant.

Burglary – 200 blk. Bausman St. - between 1/26/18 at 4 PM and 1/29/18 at 10 AM – Property owner called to report her items were scattered throughout the property. There appears to be nothing stolen at this time.
