Hill Top Lions support their community with donation to St. John Vianney Pantry
February 13, 2018
Members of the Pittsburgh Hill Top Lions Club recently visited the St. John Vianney Food Pantry and made a contribution of $1,000 to the pantry for their work in providing food assistance to those in need in the Hilltop neighborhoods.
The Lions Club was represented by Joe Setticase, treasurer; Bernice Goodall, secretary; and, Tom Coppola. Receiving the check on behalf of the pantry volunteers was long-time food pantry volunteer Tony Romaniello.
The Pittsburgh Hill Top Lions have supported the St. John Vianney Food Pantry for many years. The food pantry is sponsored by St. Mary of the Mount Parish and operates on the first and third Friday of each month from noon until 1:45 p.m. at 816 Climax St. Pittsburgh 15210.
Lions Club International was founded by Melvin Jones in 1917. The Lions encourage service-minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward.
