Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 36/18 on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Vetere Carson City Vetere, applicant, and 10 Virginia Ave. LLC, owner, for 10 Virginia Avenue and 55 Wyoming Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District LNC).

Applicant requests off-site parking for 10 Virginia to be provided at 55 Wyoming Street, expansion of the use as a restaurant (general) within LNC and reduction of the required parking for restaurant (general). Also, see Past Cases and Decisions.

Special Exceptions: 911.04.A.57: Expansion of the use as restaurant (general); 914.07.G.2(a): Off-site parking is a Special Exception.

Variances: 914.02.A: Reduction to the required number of parking for use as restaurant (general).

Past Cases and Decisions: ZBA 303 of 2015, applicant’s request for building renovation for use as restaurant (general) with five on-site parking spaces and six off-site parking spaces was approved with condition.

Zone case 33/18 on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of Pamela Williams, applicant, and Trimont Residential Condominium, owner, for 1306 Grandview Avenue in the 19th Ward (Zoning District AP).

Applicant requests 6’ privacy fence for vacant lot.

Variance: 905.01.C: Minimum 30’ front setback required and 0’ requested.
