Baby Book Shower slated for the Knoxville Library

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Knoxville Branch will be hosting a Baby Book Shower on Saturday, November 11 from 1-2 p.m.

Have fun celebrating your new baby. Parents-to-be, parents of babies, and babies ages birth to 18 months will enjoy cake, games, songs and books at the library’s Baby Book Shower.

Activities will include: Enjoy a Best Book for Babies readaloud; Meet other parents and parents-to-be; Share books and other simple learning activities with your baby; and, Explore this year’s Best Books for Babies.

Created by a panel of local librarians and child development experts, Best Books for Babies is a nationally recognized guide that assists parents, teachers and caregivers in selecting quality materials to share with babies age birth to 18 months.

RSVPs are suggested by calling 412-381-6543, emailing, or stopping in in-person at CLP-Knoxville, 400 Brownville Road.
