Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 332/17 on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 9:10 a.m. is the appeal of Pomo Development Inc, applicant and owner, for 442-444 Sweetbrier Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-M).

Applicant requests two new two-story single-family detached dwellings with integral parking, rear decks and front porches.

Variances: 903.03.C.2: Minimum 3,200 sq. ft. lot size permitted; Minimum 30’ front setback required and 17’ requested (dwelling 444); Minimum 30’ front setback required and 16.5’ requested (dwelling 442); Minimum 5’ interior side setback required and 3.5’ requested (deck 442).
