Annual Christmas festival is one of the largest in area

The 23rd Annual Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival will take place Oct. 20-22 and Oct. 28-29 at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, PA.

One of the largest Christmas festivals in the tri-state area, it features more than 230 decorated booths throughout six indoor heated buildings. Artists, craftsmen and vendors from 16 states will be displaying and selling a wide variety of arts, crafts and gift merchandise.

Children of all ages can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and have their photographs taken on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fairgrounds provide free on-site parking and no shuttling is required. The Washington County fairgrounds is accessible a few miles from Interstate 79 and Interstate 70, 20 miles south of Pittsburgh.
