Next 3 Days will highlight Carrick's culture and businesses

Next 3 Days will celebrate and highlight Carrick, its culture, businesses and amenities this weekend, from Friday, Sept. 15 to Sunday, Sept. 17.

Friday night there will be an Open House and Kick Off Party at the Dairy District Pavilion from 6-8:30 p.m. Live music will be provided by The Telephone Line. Pop Up Embury will craft cocktails inspired by the neighborhood. There will be food from and inspired by the neighborhood, local art projects, neighborhood photography, block party games and more.

Celebrate Carrick: N3D Festival takes place on Saturday, Sept. 16 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Dairy District Pavilion.

The free festival features businesses, organizations, cultural heritage groups, residents and artists from Carrick. Tour Carrick’s famous Boulevard and see the historic homes. Learn the neighborhood’s history on tours given by local residents and experts.

Live local musical acts will perform along with headliner Beauty Slap. There will be food from local restaurants and the Colteryahn Dairy along with an appearance by some local pierogi makers.

Farm to Table’s local farmers’ market will be there, also. Those attending will be able to treat themselves to popcorn and crafts with the organizers of Carrick’s Corn Fest.

Starting at 4 p.m. there will be an After Party “Bites & Brews” at the Dairy District Pavilion. The after party will feature craft brews and food.

Sunday will feature the N3D Home Tour and Open Houses at various locations throughout Carrick from noon to 3 p.m. Maps will be available at local businesses for the self-guided tours and open houses of Carrick housing stock at select rehabbed homes.
