The Mt. Oliver Borough is soliciting comments on a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP). The Borough’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requires Mt. Oliver to develop a PRP for the removal of sediment and phosphorus and make this plan available for public review and comment. The PRP will be available for review at the Borough Office on August 2, 2017, during regular office hours. The purpose of the PRP is to discuss the methodology used by the Borough to reduce or eliminate the sources of Sediment and Nutrients to meet water quality standards.

Comments on the draft plan must be filed in writing no later than 30 days after the publication of the formal notice. Comments should be clearly marked “PRP Comments” and either mailed, hand delivered or discussed during the comment period at a public meeting. All comments which are mailed or hand delivered should be delivered to the Mt. Oliver Municipal Building, 150 Brownsville Road, Mount Oliver, PA 15210. Attention Rick Hopkinson, Borough Manager. The Borough will also accept public comments at the August 17, 2017 Council meeting.
