Gary and Pam McBurney are memorials in honor of Memorial Day. Their first project was the memorial at the corner of 10th and E. Carson streets.

Gary and Pam McBurney, owners of Vapor Galleria joined their employees in beginning a project to clean and restore the headstones of 20 veterans' graves in honor of Memorial Day.

They will clean and polish these headstones, and restore them to their original luster.

"We are always looking at ways to give back to our community, and restoring these headstones seems like a fitting tribute to those service people who so selflessly served our country," Mr. McBurney stated.

The headstones cleanings began on Saturday, May 27. Family and friends of deceased veterans can contact Mr. McBurney at gmcburney@vaporgalleria or 412-999-3436, to schedule this free service or to volunteer to help.

The project is in conjunction with MarbleLife, a stone restoration company. Gary and Pam McBurney, owners of Vapor Galleria.
