Man arrested after SWAT called to Carrick

On Friday, May 19 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Zone 1 Police officers were attempting to serve a probation violation warrant at a home in the 100 block of E. Agnew Road in Carrick when they observed the suspect, identified as Sebastian Zachary Perella, 24, exiting a rear door of the residence.

Perella did not comply with an officer's commands and ran back inside of the residence and hid in an apartment that was occupied by a man and his three-year-old daughter. They exited through a window.

Shortly before 8 p.m. SWAT was called to the scene and began instructing Perella to surrender. He refused to come out of the residence. SWAT warned Perella a K-9 was about to be sent into the residence, which prompted him to peacefully surrender at approximately 9:55 p.m.

His charges include flight to avoid apprehension and endangering the welfare of a child.

Due to the deplorable conditions of the residence, a warrant was also obtained for William Poullos, 34, on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
