Donations of new, used iPads benefits ALEC kids

The Allentown Learning and Engagement Center (ALEC), 827 E. Warrington Avenue, is seeking donations of iPads to enhance its STEAM lessons.

“Our students want to experiment with video and sound recording to better share our learning,” said Maggie Negrete, education coordinator at The Brashear Association. “Help our education department enter the 21st Century with a tax deductible donation. Cash donations to purchase items are also welcome.”

She noted The Brashear Association is celebrating 100 years serving South Pittsburgh families in 2017. The association is a 501c3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Contact Ms. Negrete at 412-620-8282 for more information.
