Soup and Song night at First Friday Event Jan. 6 at St. Mary of the Mount Church

 


St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mount Washington, has instituted First Friday Events designed to bring the community together and attract a variety of different tastes and interests. Most events are family focused, some are old favorites, and many are new and original.

On Friday, January. is a perfect cold winter evening event for the whole family. Soup and Song will be held at Sullivan Hall, 131 Bigham Street, Pittsburgh PA 15211. At 6:30 p.m. the event begins with Grace, dinner service at 7 p.m.

Menu includes all you can eat soup – Bacon Potato Soup, Italian Wedding Soup, Beef Minestrone soup, Vegetable Soup, Stuffed Pepper Soup along with a tossed salad, crusty bread, soft drink or coffee.

Dinner prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, no charge for children under 4.

Take out menu includes two pints of soup, two rolls and salad for two for $10. Sing-along is from 7:30-8 p.m. Also available is dessert at the Bake Sale,
