Youth programming continues at the Carrick Branch Library


Weekly youth programs are continuing at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Carrick:

Storytime: Children 18 months to 5 years can get up and get moving with interactive stories, songs and crafts at Storytime every Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Kids Club: Children ages 6-12 can explore their creativity at this after school art program. Kids Club is every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Teen Time: Teens in grades 6-12 can hang out and get their game on at Teen Time every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Homework Help: Youth in grades K-5 can get homework assistance and school support from a professional adult tutor and enjoy a healthy snack every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening from 5:15-7:15 p.m.

In addition to these weekly events, the Carrick Library will once again be hosting its annual “Haunted Library” haunted house event. The Haunted Library will be happening during the evenings of October 26 and 27 from 5-7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m. The event is free and is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
