Zone case 274/16 on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 10:00 a.m. is the appeal of Steel Mill Properties LLC, owners and applicants, for 133 S. 20th Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH).
Applicant requests two business ID signs for the real estate office.
Review: 919.01.F: Nonconforming sign review by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Past Cases and Decisions: ZBA 197 of 2013, applicant’s request for use of structure as a real estate office on the first floor and as a residential unit on the second floor was approved.
Notes: Certificate of Occupancy 13-b-03837, dated 1/25/2016, permitted occupancy “Use of existing 2½-story structure as a real estate office on the first floor and as a residential unit on the second floor.”
Zone case 363/16 on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 8:50 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Dormer, owner and applicant, for 425 Cabot Way in the 17th Ward (Zoning District RM-M, LNC).
Applicant requests new two-story detached garage accessory to single-family dwelling located at 1520 Bingham Street.
Variances: 912.01.D: Accessory uses should be located on the same zoning lot and the same zoning district as the primary structure; 903.03.C.2: Minimum 25’ front setback required and 0’ requested; Minimum 10’ interior side setback required and 0’ and 3’ requested; 912.04.E: Maximum height one-story/15’ permitted and two-story/22’ requested.
Zone case 280/16 on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Joshua D. and Samantha Pinter, owners and applicants, for 331 Olympia Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District R1D-M).
Applicant requests 6’ privacy fence for single-family dwelling at rear and along Virginia St. and up to 8’ retaining wall.
