Meters on way back to Allentown

Parking will be on the agenda at the Oct. 4 public meeting of the Allentown CDC.

Soon, pay parking may return to the 700-800 blocks of Warrington Avenue in Allentown. Meters were removed from the neighborhood four years ago when the avenue was under construction.

Now, the Pittsburgh Parking Authority is considering bringing back pay parking to the street, along with Allen Street between Warrington and Manton Way.

The Allentown meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Allentown Senior Center, 631 E. Warrington Avenue.

In addition to discussing parking, on and off Warrington, other topics will include neighborhood news and updates.
