Music festival fundraiser

The Allegheny County Music Festival, featuring Pittsburgh-based Rusted Root and several local bands, will be held Sunday, Sept. 4, at the amphitheater in Hartwood Acres Park in Hampton. Opening acts begin at 5 p.m. and Rusted Root will take the stage at 8 p.m.

The suggested donation is $20 per car to benefit the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund. The fund finances requests from children and youth receiving services through the Allegheny County Department of Human Services or Allegheny County Juvenile Probation for life-enriching items and opportunities not otherwise available through traditional government sources.

Festival line-up includes: Ferdinand the Bull; Jim Donovan and the Sun King Warriors; Nevada Color; and, Rusted Root.
