Brashear Camp reunion is in the works for 2017

Brashear Association will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2017 with a variety of events and celebrations.

These celebrations will include a reunion of staff and campers from Brashear Camp, the association’s residential summer camp from 1930 until the 1980s. Organizing the reunion are Barbara Rudiak and Tom Smith, camp alumni and current Board members of the Brashear Association, but they could use help.

A small steering committee of camp alumni is being formed to firm up what the event will include. Those interested in helping are asked to email: BrashearCampReunion2017@gmail.com. Former campers and staff who may not have time to participate in planning but would like to help are also welcome to reply.

Are there pictures from this camp. I know I went but can't remember very much. Would love a picture to help me remember it

Hi, I was a camper at Brashear for several years in the 1960s. My memory is full of many good times and people, Uncle Bob, etc. I have only been able to find the old camp once. Is it still there, at least the buildings? I would love to take my Wife there , can someone give me directions? Thank you very much, Donald C. Grubb
