Roosevelt School students attentive to area challenge
Pittsburgh Roosevelt recently came out on top in a school-wide attendance challenge involving three other schools in the South Hills area.
In order to win the challenge, Roosevelt had to have the most students who had perfect attendance, or missed only one day of school for the month of February. The Carrick school beat out the other schools by having 215 students meet the criteria.
Each student who met the attendance challenge will receive a draw string bag courtesy The United Way, and a free skating field trip to Romp n Roll. The school will also receive a trophy to display until next year’s challenge.
