Warrington Rec programs

 


Warrington Recreation Center has a variety of programs for youth and adults this spring.

Programs include:

Peter Pan Timeout for Fitness, a free program for pre-K kids, takes place on Mondays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Pre-K boys and girls can enjoy games and activities that will allow them to move, learn, play and grow while giving them a head start to a lifetime of healthy fitness.

Stay Seated for Fitness is an 18 and older fitness program with low impact routines while in a seated position. The free program is ideal for adults or adults who are just starting a fitness program. Hours are: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon.

A Foosball League for ages 8-10 and 11-15 will begin on April 12. The free program will be on Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. Boys and girls will have fun learning foosball in this table game that develops hand-eye coordination and strategy while encouraging competency skills and self-esteem.

A two-session Mother’s Day Crafts program will take place on Monday, May 2 and Thursday, May 5 at 6 p.m. The free all-ages class will allow everyone to create unique and heart-felt gifts for the special mom in their life.

Play and Learn for boys and girls will include activities including racket sports, indoor soccer, kickball, relay races and more. The free program for ages 8-12 takes place on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. beginning May 17.
