The following are the Part I crimes for the week of: February 15, 2016 thru February 21, 2016.

Duquesne Heights (1911)

Mt. Washington (1903, 1914, 1915, 1807)

Stolen Auto – 400 blk Edgemont St. – 2/15 between 6:30 AM and 6:50 AM – Victim states his car was stolen out of his driveway after he started it to warm it up due to the cold temps. 2005 Silver, Infinity PA plate HLL0273.

Stolen Auto – 400 blk Ruston St. – 2/15 at 9:30 AM – Victim states she started her car to warm it up and left it running while she went back inside her residence. 2012 Chevy Traverse, HDK1218.

Burglary – 90 blk Haberman St. – 2/16 between 4:20 PM and 4:40 PM – Victim stated he discovered his tools missing from a house he was doing renovations on. Witness said a red pickup truck with a quad cab was seen on the property and left just prior to the victim arriving. Entry had been made through the wooden basement door.

Theft from Person – 50 blk Estella St. – between 12/30/15 and 2/17 – Victim states his iPod was taken by his son’s caregiver. Value $200.

Theft from Business – 300 blk. Boggs Ave. – between 2/16 and 2/19 – Reporting person states a Pittsburgh Parking Authority “boot” had been taken from a booted car. Both the car and boot were gone. Value $350.

Theft from Vehicle – 40 blk. Ruth St. – between 2/20 at 7:30 and 2/21 2:00 AM – Victim states his friends keys were taken out of his glove compartment.

South Shore (1921)

South Side Flats (1702, 1609)

Theft from Vehicle (License plate) – 100 blk. S. 13th St. – between 2/14 at 8:00 PM amd 2/15 at 10:45 AM – Victim states she discovered her license plate had been stolen from her car. WV plate 9TG340.

Theft from Vehicle – (License plate) – 9th & Sarah Sts. – between 2/15 at 11:00 AM and 2/16 at 12:00 PM – Victim states the registration plate had been stolen from her car. MD plate 5BSC24.

Theft from Person – 1100 blk E. Carson St. – 2/15 at 2:00 AM – Victim states his coat was taken from the back of his chair. The coat had a cell phone and $160 inside of it. Total loss $300.

Theft from Business – 2000 E. Carson St. – Between 12/15/15 and 1/15/16 – Reporting person states a Verizon Hotspot Device was taken from the business and was used to total $6000 on the business account.

Stolen Auto (with firearm) – 30 blk. Mt. Oliver St. – 2/18 at 7:40 AM – Victim states she started her vehicle and went back inside her residence for a few minutes, with the car doors unlocked. During that time, her car was stolen. Inside was a firearm. 1997 gold, Lexus, PA plate JWD4121.

Theft from Vehicle – 2400 blk. Harcum Way – between 2/19 at 10:00 PM and 2/20 at 11:30 AM – Victim states the window in his vehicle had been broken and a laptop bag with a laptop inside had been stolen. The laptop is the property of the victim’s employer and contains sensitive information.

Theft from Vehicle – 500 blk. S. 28th St. – 2/20 between 7:00 PM and 11:15 PM – Victim states a purse was stolen from the inside of this car. $300 value.

Stolen Auto – 2500 blk E. Carson St. – 2/20 between 1:30 AM and 12:00 PM – Victims states his rental car was stolen. 2016 black Dodge Durango.

Theft from Vehicle – 60 blk. S. 9th St. – between 2/14 and 2/18 at 7:15 AM – Victim states the registration plate was taken from her car. MD plate 7BM7413.

Theft from Person – 1700 blk. E. Carson St. – 2/5 between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM – Victim states her coat was stolen from a bar while shooting pool. Although she didn’t report it at the time, she saw a female suspect come into her place of business wearing her coat. Victim made the report at that time and obtained the license plate of the car that the suspect was driving.

Stolen Auto – Roland and S. 15th Sts. – 2/19 between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM – Victim states his car was stolen. Silver 2008 Jeep, PA plate EXJ3615

Robbery (strong arm) – 1900 blk. E. Carson St. - 2/20 at 2:30 AM – Victim states he was approached by three suspects, who forcefully went into his pockets. He fought them off and they fled in silver Chrysler Sebring.

Theft from Vehicle – 1700 blk. Wharton St. – between 2/20 at 2:00 PM and 2/21 at 10:00 AM – Victim states someone went into her vehicle and took a laptop in a briefcase. The vehicle may have been left unlocked.

Theft from Residence – 1900 blk. Sarah St. – between 2/14 and 2/21 – Victim states two bicycles were taken from the rear of the residence. Total value $200.

Bon Air (1806)

South Side Slopes (1706, 1608)

Theft from Vehicle – 10 blk. Hackstown St. – between 2/19 at 11:28 PM and 2/20 at 9:36 AM – Victim discovered her car window had been smashed out and a small amount of change had been taken.

Allentown (1803)

Theft from business – 800 blk Warrington Ave. – between 8/1/15 and 2/15/16 – It was discovered an employee had stolen an estimated $13, 000 from the restaurant.

Knoxville (3001)

Theft from Person – 200 blk Rochelle – 2/16 – Victim states a family member picked up her prescriptions without her permission.

Stolen Auto – 400 blk. Suncrest St. – 2/21 between 1:00 AM and 8:00 PM – Victim states her car was stolen from the front of her residence. White 2003 Chevrolet Impala, PA plate JZT3531.

Beltzhoover (1809)

Criminal Mischief – 900 blk Brownsville Rd. – between 2/17 at 4:30 PM and 2/18 at 11:30 AM – Victim states that someone took a bucket and smashed the windshield of her car.

Mount Oliver (1607)

Arlington (1603)

Theft from Residence – 300 blk. Felmeth St. – 2/16 – Victim states when he was inside his residence, he allowed suspect inside while the victim went to the second floor. After being advised by a mutual friend, he was advised the suspect was attempting to sell medication that may have come from his residence. After checking, multiple items were discovered missing. In addition to the medication, jewelry was stolen. Total value $198.

Arlington Heights (1604)

Carrick (2901, 2902, 2904)

Theft from Business – 2600 blk Brownsville Rd. – between 2/1 and 2/17 – Victim states an employee had been stealing eye glasses from the business. Value $2,822.

Theft from Person – 2200 blk. Almont St. – 2/10 between 12:00AM and 9:30 AM – Victim states while her friend was overdosing in her car and was transported to the hospital, she discovered her wallet was missing. She also reports her prescriptions are missing from her residence.

Burglary – 1100 blk. Brownsville Rd. 2/21 at 9:21 PM – After a burglar alarm activated, officers responded and met with the business owner. It was discovered an exterior door had been forced open and access was gained into the business. $15 in quarters was missing.

Overbrook (3204, 3207)

Theft from Vehicle – 2/16 between 1:30 AM and 12:30 PM – Victim states his car was parked in his driveway and someone entered his car and took his wallet. There were no signs of forced entry.
