Police make arrest in Brownsville Rd. robbery

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police have arrested Dominque Charles Arture, 21, of Carrick and charged him with robbing the Rite Aid in the 1200 Block of Brownsville Road on January 18.

According to police, Arture approached the register with two snack items in his hand. He removed a gun from his pocket and demanded the cashier open the register. He took money from the register and left the store on foot.

In Arture's possession at the time of his arrest was a black BB gun that resembled a real firearm because the orange tip had been removed.
