City Black History Month exhibit opens downtown
The City of Pittsburgh kicked off Black History Month on Monday, Feb. 1 with the opening of an exhibit titled “A History on Film: A Tribute to African American Contribution to Film.”
The exhibit will be on display in the lobby of the City-County Building weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. February 1 – 29.
The “A History on Film: A Tribute to African American Contribution to Film” display will showcase 20 individuals with Pittsburgh roots. A list of individuals can be found here.
The City of Pittsburgh’s 2016 celebration of Black History Month is presented by Citiparks and is sponsored by WAMO 100.
