South Side bank robbery

 


On Friday, Jan. 15 at approximately 10:48 a.m., Zone 3 Police responded to the PNC Bank in the 1700 block of E. Carson Street for an armed bank robbery that just occurred.

According to police, a male suspect walked into the bank, pointed a handgun at the teller and demanded money. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is believed to be between 25 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black mask, a hat with a Steelers’ logo, a tan jacket with a gold hoodie underneath.

The investigation is ongoing.
