Nominating petitions for April 26 Primary Election are now available

 


Nominating petitions for local Republican County Committee man and woman offices will be available on Tuesday, January 19.

Nominating petitions may be obtained by visiting the Elections Division in Room 601 of the County Office Building located at 542 Forbes Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Candidates for the offices of President of the United States, United States Senator, United States Representative, State Attorney General, State Auditor General, State Treasurer, State Senator (odd-numbered districts only) and State Representative, as well as Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the national party conventions may obtain nominating petitions by contacting the Commonwealth’s Bureau of Commissions, Elections & Legislation at 717-787-5280 or http://www.dos.state.pa.us/bcel.

The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, Jan. 26, and the last day to file nominating petitions is Tuesday, Feb. 16.
