Police seeking suspect in attempted Carrick robbery

 


The Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit is investigating an armed robbery at the Carrick CoGo’s at 2800 Brownsville Road.

According to the initial report, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8, a man entered the store, pointed a black, semi-automatic pistol at the clerk, and demanded money. A customer entered and the suspect ran from the store without any money.

He is described as a white man, approximately 25-30 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing and a dark ski mask.
