Shots fired in domestic dispute

 


On Christmas day, at approximately 4:15 p.m, Zone 3 Officers responded to the 2300 block of Eccles Street for a report of shots fired. 

According to police, during an apparent domestic incident, a 23-year-old female from Allentown was driving a blue Chevy Trailblazer by the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Sterling Street when another dark colored Trailblazer with three men she knew started following her and began shooting at her car. Shooting occurred from Sterling to Eccles.

Police report 15 shots were fired but the victim wasn’t injured, but her vehicle was struck four times. It is not known which one of the three men was doing the shooting. 

Additional property damage resulted from this incident. An unoccupied Chevy Trailblazer parked nearby was struck by a bullet in the windshield. An unoccupied parked Dodge Grand Caravan was also struck by a bullet in the hood. A set of steps to a residence was hit four times.

The investigation continues.
