Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 300/15 on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 9:40 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Young, owner and applicant, for 2511 Jane Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH).

Applicant requests lot subdivision and continued use of two existing residential structures.

Variance: 903.03.E.2: Minimum 15’ rear setback required and 13.9’ requested.

Zone case 301/15 on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of Brian Young, owner and applicant, for 132 Monastery Avenue in the 17th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH).

Applicant requests two compact car parking pad at rear of single-family dwelling.

Variances: 903.03.E.2: Minimum 5’ interior side setback required and 0’ requested; 912.04.B: Minimum 2’ rear setback required and 0’ requested.

Zone case 120/15 on Thursday, Dec. 17 (continued from May 14, 2015) at 10:10 a.m. is the appeal of Cozza Enterprises, LLC, owner, and St. Mary of the Mount Parish, applicant, for 341 Grandview Avenue and Bertha Street in the 19th Ward (Zoning District GPR-A).

Applicant requests review of traffic study related to construction of a 16,000 sq. ft. parish center with a social hall that seats 300-340 occupants, religious assembly (general).
