County ice skating rinks now open for the season

 


North Park and South Park ice rinks have opened for the season with sessions from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and 7:30 to 10 p.m.

The 2015-16 ice skating season will run through mid-March, weather and conditions permitting. Ice skating admission rates and rental fees for the 2015-16 season are as follows:

Resident Non-Resident Rate Rate

Ages 60+ $3 $4

Ages 18-59 $5 $6

Ages 0-17 $3 $4

Group Discount: 20-person minimum with at least 24-hour notice. Not valid during Friday & Saturday night sessions: $2/person for ages 60+; $4/person for ages 18-59; and $2/person for ages 0-17. $3/person for ages 60+; $5/person for ages 18-59; and $3/person for ages 0-17.

Season Pass – Ages 60+ $25 $31

Season Pass – Ages 18-59 $50 $63

Lost Pass Fee $5 $6

Active Allegheny County volunteer firefighters and volunteer emergency medical technicians are eligible to receive free season ice skating passes through the Park Pass Program.
