Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 278/15 on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 9:00 a.m. is the appeal of Dominic Defrank, owner and applicant, for 161 S 18th Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH).

Applicant requests new three-story single-family attached dwelling with integral parking and a rooftop deck (1/2 with covered roof).

Variance: 903.03.E.2: Minimum 1,200 sq. ft. required and 1,110 requested; Minimum 5’ interior side setback required and 0’ requested.

Zone case 280/15 on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of James D. and Robin A. Sharra, owner, and Robert Watt, applicant, for 77 S 14th Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District R1A-VH).

Applicant requests existing generator at rear of single-family dwelling.

Special Exception: Waiver of operational performance standards is a Special Exception.

Zone case 313/15 on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 9:50 a.m. is the appeal of John and Anna Donley, owners and applicants, for 108½ Aaron Avenue in the 32th Ward (Zoning District R1D-M).

Applicant requests one-car parking pad at front of single-family dwelling.

Variance: 903.03.C.2: Minimum 30’ front setback required and 0’ requested.
