The following are the violent crimes, crime trends for the week of: November 1 to November 8, 2015:

Duquesne Heights (1911)

Burglary of vacant residence, 400 block of Bradley Street, occurred between 10/30 4:30pm and 11/2 7:00am – Entry made through second story window. Copper piping stolen.

Mt. Washington (1903, 1914, 1915, 1807)

Theft from Vehicle – 300 block of Belonda Street, occurred between 11/1 8:00pm and 11/2 7:30am. Sunglasses stolen from unlocked car.

Burglary of Residence – 300 block of Boggs Avenue, occurred between 8:00am and 3:30pm on 11/3. Basement door kicked in. Money, prescription pills, MP3 player stolen.

Theft from Vehicle – 70 block of Westwood Street, occurred between 11/3 10:00pm and 11/4 3:00pm. Wedding and engagement rings stolen from car. Victim believes car may have been left unlocked.

Theft from Vehicle – 100 block of Jeanette Street, occurred between 3:30am and 12:00pm on 11/4. Backpack containing a laptop was stolen from car. Backpack was located in 700 block of Lena Way with nothing missing from it.

Robbery – 400 block of Bailey Avenue, occurred at 7:00am on 11/6. Victim stated while walking in Grand View Park he was approached by two white males. The larger male, wearing a black hoodie, asked him for a cigarette. The victim told him that he did not have a cigarette and then the large male, who was standing directly in front of him, pointed a chrome gun at his face and shouted "Where is your wallet?" Victim told the actor his wallet was in his back pants pocket. The first actor then directed the other actor, who was much smaller in build and wearing a gray hoodie with white lettering, to get the victim’s wallet. The smaller actor. who was standing beside the actor with the gun, walked behind the victim and removed the victim’s wallet. Both actors ran down a path in the park which led to steps to the Southside. Actors described as: White male, 30-35 years of age, approximately 6'2 - 6'4, approximately 230 lbs, had a thin "pencil like mustache" with chin hair, wearing a black hoodie. Second actor described as a white male, 25-28 years of age, approximately 5'6 - 5'7, approximately 130 lbs, had a beard, wearing a gray hoodie with white lettering in a half circle design.

South Shore (1921)

Theft – 100 block of Station Square Drive, occurred at 4:00pm on 11/1 (reported on 11/2). Wallet stolen from purse.

South Side Flats (1702, 1609)

Theft – 2700 block of Jane Street, occurred between 12:30pm and 12:50pm on 11/1 (reported on 11/2). Theft of money.

Burglary of Residence – 1100 block of Mary Ann Street, occurred between 7:00am and 6:34pm on 11/2. Entry made through side window. Xbox game system and game, laptop, and tablet stolen.

Stolen car – 1700 block of Wharton Street, occurred between 6:00pm and 8:15pm on 11/3. 1986 Chevy Corvette stolen.

Theft – 100 block of S. 20th Street, occurred between 11/3 6:30pm and 11/4 6:30pm. Black diamondback bicycle stolen.

Theft from Vehicle – 40 block of S. 16th Street, occurred between 11/3 7:30pm and 11/4 7:00am. CDs and sunglasses stolen. Victim believes that he may have left his car unlocked.

Burglary of Residence – 2500 block of E. Carson Street, occurred between 7:30am and 1:40pm on 11/5. Entry made through front window. Debit card stolen.

Theft from Vehicle – S. 21st Street and Mary Street, occurred between 10:00am and 4:00pm on 11/6. Front passenger window broken and $20 taken.

Theft from Vehicle – S. 22nd Street and Jane Street, occurred between 11/5 7:00pm and 11/6 2:00am. $850 taken from car and a bag of new socks was left in his car.

Theft from Vehicle – Sidney Street and S. 28th Street, occurred between 6:00pm and 9:30pm on 11/7. Passenger side front window broken and a purse was stolen.

Theft – 2800 block of E. Carson Street, occurred between 8:45am and 5:55pm on 11/5. Gary Fischer Road Bike (black/red) stolen.

Burglary – 1900 block of E. Carson Street, occurred between 10:30am and 12:00pm on 11/6. 2 bicycles stolen from garage. Black Dawes CycloCross Lightning 16 speed bike and a light blue Dawes Sheila 16 speed bike.

Theft – 1500 block of E. Carson Street, occurred between 11/6 11:00pm and 11/7 12:30am. Wallet stolen while victim was in bar.

Theft from Vehicle – 100 block of S. 14th Street, occurred between 12:05am and 10:45am on 11/7. Wallet, jumper cables, and tire iron stolen.

Aggravated Assault – 1500 E. Carson Street, occurred at 1:50am 11/8. Officer assaulted while attempting to arrest a disorderly intoxicated male.

Theft – 900 block of E. Carson Street, occurred between 10/30 12:01am and 11/4 12:01am. Gym mat stolen.

Burglary of Residence – 100 block of S. 14th Street, occurred between 8:00am and 6:30pm on 11/5. 46” TV, coin collection stolen.

South Side Slopes (1706, 1608)

Burglary of Residence – 2800 block of Salisbury Street, occurred between 11/3 10:00pm and 11/4 2:00am. Entry made through garage door. Actor entered attached garage and went through car. Nothing taken, house wasn’t entered.

Burglary of Residence – 2500 block of Josephine Street, occurred between 11/7 9:30pm and 11/8 1:00pm. Entry made through rear door. Safe, money, firearm stolen.

Robbery – 50 block of Gregory Street, occurred at 9:30pm on 11/7. A woman and two men all displayed firearms as they forced their way into an apartment on Gregory Street. The victim suffered multiple lacerations after he was struck in the face and head several times. He also was robbed of electronic equipment, a firearm, wallet, cell phone and car keys.

The three suspects fled on foot. Actors are described as a black woman, 5-feet-10, aged 23- to 27-years-old with short black hair; a black male aged 22-27 years, approximately 6-1, 220 pounds, and wearing his hair in long braids; and a black male, approximately 5-11 and 150 pounds.

Allentown (1803)

Burglary of Residence – 900 block of Industry Street, occurred between 7:00am and 11:00am on 11/5. Entry through side window. Jewelry, cell phone, Xbox game system stolen.

Attempted Burglary of Residence – 900 block of Manton Way, occurred between 11/5 8:00am and 11/7 8:40am. Damage to front door.

Aggravated Assault – 800 block of Climax Street, occurred at 10:39pm on 11/7. Known actor. Warrant issued.

Knoxville (3001)

Theft from Vehicle – 100 block of Redlyn Street, occurred between 11/6 10:00pm and 11/7 1:00am. Wallet and iPod stolen from unlocked car.

Theft – 300 block of Suncrest Street, occurred between 11/6 7:30pm and 11/7 12:00pm. Theft of prescription medication.

Beltzhoover (1809)

Mount Oliver (1607)

Theft – 400 block of Parkwood Road, occurred between 8:00am and 10:10am on 11/2. Theft of television by known actor.

Arlington (1603)

Theft – 2800 block of Arlington Avenue, occurred between 11/6 8:00am and 11/7 5:00pm. Prescription drugs stolen.

Burglary of Residence – 2000 block of Spring Street, occurred between 9:00am and 6:00pm on 11/7. Entry made by kicking in the back door. Dog and TV stolen.

Theft – 2100 block of Arlington Avenue, occurred between 11/3 8:00am and 11/7 2:00pm. License plate stolen.

Arlington Heights (1604)

Carrick (2901, 2902, 2904)

Burglary of Business – 1600 block of Brownville Road, occurred between 11/1 1:00am and 11/4 11:07am. Known actor burglarized business. Warrant issued.

Theft – 200 block of Jucunda Street, occurred between 11/3 4:00pm and 11/4 12:30am. Theft of prescription pills.

Burglary of Residence – 100 block of E. Meyers Street, occurred between 10:30am and 12:50pm on 11/4. Unknown entry point. Nothing taken.

Theft – 2600 block of Brownsville Road, occurred between 3:00pm and 4:00pm on 11/3. Theft of iPad.

Robbery – Brownsville Road and Madeline Street, occurred at 8:20am on 11/7. Victim robbed by known actor. Warrant issued.

Burglary of Residence – 100 block of E. Meyers Street, occurred between 7:45am and 10:40am on 11/5. Entry made through rear window. Money taken.

Overbrook (3204, 3207)

Burglary of Business – 2100 block of Saw Mill Run Blvd., occurred between 10/15 8:00am and 11/3 6:01pm. Entry made through side window. Nothing stolen, criminal mischief done inside building.

Bon Air (1806)
