Home invasion on South Side Slopes under investigation

 


At 10:03 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, Zone 3 officers responded to Gregory Street for a call that a home invasion had just occurred.

According to the investigation, a female suspect and two unknown male suspects forced their way into the 31-year-old victim’s apartment and all produced firearms. One male suspect struck the victim in the face and head several times, causing lacerations.

The three suspects then robbed the victim of electronic equipment, a firearm, wallet, cell phone and car keys before fleeing the scene on foot.

The female suspect is described as a black woman between 23-27 years old, approximately 5’10”, 130 pounds with a thin build and short black hair. One male suspect is a black man, believed to be between 22-27 years old, approximately 6’1”, 220 pounds, and wears his hair in long braids.

The second actor is described as a black man, approximately 5’11” and 150 pounds.

Paramedics arrived and evaluated the victim for injuries. The victim refused to be transported to the hospital by paramedics and later self-reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
