Book sale this week at CLP Carrick

 


The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Friends of the Carrick Branch will hold a three day book sale at the library, 1811 Brownsville Road, from Thursday, Nov. 5 to Saturday, Nov. 7.

Hours are Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A wide variety of adult, teen and children’s materials will be priced to sell.

Donations are appreciated and if anyone is cleaning out their bookcases, closets, or attics and are wondering what to do with those gently used books, DVDs, records, CDs and audio books the Friends of the Library are accepting donations through November 6 at the Carrick branch, 1811 Brownsville Road, for their book sale.

They can no longer accept National Geographic’s older than a few years. Encyclopedia sets, no matter the age, are no longer accepted for the book sale.
