Police investigate homicide in Allentown

 


Pittsburgh Police are investigating a homicide in Allentown.

At approximately 7 a.m. on Sept. 19, Zone 3 officers were called to the 300 block of Allen Street for the report of a man lying face down in the street. The man, James Johnson, had received a gunshot wound and was dead. 

The investigation is ongoing and no other information was available. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911 or contact the Homicide Office at 412-323-7161. Callers can remain anonymous.
