Kids' programs continue at the Carrick library branch


Summer programs for kids continue at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh -- Carrick, 1811 Brownsville Road.

Join them at the library for Creepy Crawlies and Things With Wings, a special kids’ program presented by Carnegie Museum of Natural History featuring live insects on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 3:30 p.m. This program is recommended for children in grades K-5. Call 412-882-3897 to register in advance.

Storytime: Toddler and Preschooler Tales continues on Tuesdays, August 4, 11, and 18 at 10:30 a.m. Come in to share stories, rhymes, songs, and more fun activities to build learning and listening skills.

Storytime is recommended for children ages 3-6 with their caregivers.

The Kids Summer Reading Finale with Carnegie Science Center will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m.

Celebrate the end of Kids Summer Reading with a special science presentation by Carnegie Science Center. Join in for fun activities and treats for kids of all ages.
