Police look for Mount bank robber

 

Police are looking for the suspect that robbed the First Niagara Bank in Mount Washington on June 15.

Pittsburgh Police are looking for a bank robbery suspect who robbed the First Niagara Bank in Mount Washington.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Monday, June 15 Zone 3 Officers responded to a bank robbery in progress call at the First Niagara Bank on Shiloh Street.

According to the police, a white man between 20-30 years old entered the bank and displayed a firearm. The suspect is approximately 5'7" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and camouflage pants.

The suspect ordered patrons of the bank to get down on the floor while the teller handed over an unknown amount of money. He then left the bank and fled south on Sycamore Street.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to the Pittsburgh Police Robbery Squad at 412-323-7151.
