Debbie Braden-Evans of the Allegheny County Human Services Area Agency on Aging presented certificates and awards to "Older Person's Transit" (OPT) poster contest winners at the Allentown/Henry Kaufmann Senior Center.

First and second place winners received free OPT trips as their prizes.

The poster contest was meant to be a tribute to OPT, a shared ride program for older adults to get to and from senior centers and their associated activities and trips. Those over 60 can register free for this service, which can also be used for two doctor appointments per month.

For more information or to register for OPT or ACCESS, call Allentown/Henry Kaufmann Center at 412-431-0729 or drop by the center at 2201 Salisbury Street, corner of Fernleaf and Salisbury streets next to Arlington Gym, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The poster contest was sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging.
