Beltzhoover residents will be surveyed to create strategies for neighborhood

In the coming weeks, staff of Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG), a non-profit community development organization working in partnership with the Hilltop Alliance, will be conducting a condition survey of all properties in Beltzhoover.

The information collected will be used to help create strategies to improve the quality of housing in the community.

The work is being done as part of PCRG’s Reimagining Communities Initiative in Beltzhoover, a comprehensive revitalization ef-fort that works with residents and community organizations to positively impact families and neighborhoods.

Throughout this project, they would like to meet with as many residents as possible to learn about the community’s goals and priorities.

Anyone who would like to learn more about the project, or would like to volunteer to help during the survey or at future events, should contact LaShawna Russ at 412-391-6732 or 412-320-5704. There will be three training dates available: March 28, April 3 and 4. She can also be reached via email at LRuss@pcrg.org.

The Reimagining Communities Initiative is made possible through organizational partners, including the Hilltop Alliance and NeighborWorks Western Pennsylvania, with financial support from S&T Bank and Northwest Savings Bank.
