'All about the Hoops' program at CLP-Knoxville

Black History Month programming for kids at the CLP-Knoxville Library will include “All about the Hoops” on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m.

Families with children ages 4-11 can take part in activities that celebrate the legacy of excellence through sports and wellness. The program features a reading of the book, Hula Hoopin’ Queen by Thelma Lynne Godin.

Everyone can try a variety of games including ring toss, foam basketball and hula hooping. Crafts and small prizes will add to the fun.

A limited supply of hula hoops will be available for use on the day of the program, but children may bring a personal hula hoop if they choose.
