Mount Oliver Borough proposed ordinances numbers 942, 943, 944 and 945

The following ordinances will be considered for adoption at a Regular Meeting of the Mt. Oliver Borough Council on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:30 PM, 150 Brownsville Road.

Ordinance No. 942

An ordinance of the Borough of Mt. Oliver fixing the tax rate for the fiscal year 2015 at 13.5 mills.

Ordinance No. 943

An ordinance of the Borough of Mt. Oliver imposing a tax levy upon every transaction conveying of transferring any lands, tenements, or hereditaments, or interest therein, situate wholly or partly within the territorial limits of the Borough of Mt. Oliver; providing for the payment of said tax; prescribing the method and manner of collecting the tax so imposed, assessed, and levied by this ordinance; providing for an official stamp evidencing payment of such tax to be affixed to every deed or like instrument of conveyance transfer; appointing the collecting agent; providing for the administration and enforcement for this said tax; providing certain exemption; imposing penalties for violation thereof; and re-enacting Ordinance No. 555 as amended by Ordinance No. 574, and Ordinance No. 555 as amended by Ordinance No. 677, without substantial change.

Ordinance No. 944

An ordinance of the Borough of Mt. Oliver establishing user fees for the maintenance, support, and costs related to the collection and disposal of refuse and any other form of solid waste.

Ordinance No. 945

An ordinance of the Borough of Mt. Oliver creating the Office of Borough Manager.
