Overbrook man arrested for possession of heroin
A drug arrest last week removed more than four bricks of heroin from city streets.
On October 1, the Pittsburgh Police Narcotics and Vice Division arrested 21-year-old Maxwell Breener. According to the investigation, Mr. Breener was selling drugs out of his father's house in the 2200 block of Bernard Street and throughout the surrounding neighborhood.
A search of the home found an open brick wrapper containing 31 stamp bags of heroin, four unopened bricks of heroin, an additional 65 stamp bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1,500 in cash.
Mr. Brenner's charges include delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and criminal conspiracy.
As part of the investigation, Tracy Ann Cardello, 45, of Brookline was also arrested. Her charges include possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
