Carrick Library has programs for kids
The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Carrick is hosting several programs in the coming weeks for kids from kindergarten to teens.
Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse will present Reuse-a-Palooza @ the Library for kids in grades K-5 to celebrate the beginning of the new school year with art projects and creative activities presented by Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse. The program will take place on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Kids Club is for children in grades K-5 to come to the library on Thursdays for art projects, crafts, games, and more, with a new activity every week. Kids Club takes place on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. beginning September 11.
Storytime: Toddler and Preschooler Tales is on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. beginning September 9. Join in for stories, rhymes, songs, and more fun activities to nurture early literacy skills in toddlers and preschoolers. Recommended for children ages 3-6 with their caregivers.
Teen Thing is for teens in grades 6-12 to drop into the library on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for art projects, games, and snacks.
