In collaboration with the Brentwood Police Department, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is working to identify Carrick residents who have recently placed hoagie orders with a woman who came knocking at their door.

On May 18, Brentwood Police arrested Angela Sibert, 27, in connection with a fake door-to-door fundraising effort in which she would take advance payment for hoagies at approximately $6 each. During the course of the investigation, Brentwood Police determined Margie Johnson, 31, was also involved in the scheme.

According to a list of potential victims confiscated during the investigation, it is believed the pair solicited at least 95 false hoagie sales in the Carrick area.

Potential victims are encouraged to call Zone 3 Detective John Gagliardi at 412-488-8330 ext. 300.

Margie Johnson is wanted in connection with a hoagie sale scam in the Brentwood and Carrick communities.
