Zoning Board hearings


Pittsburgh’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled the following public hearings of interest to South Pittsburgh residents in the first floor hearing room of the John P. Robin Civic Building, 200 Ross Street, Downtown.

Zone case 121 on Thursday, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. is the appeal of Black & Gold Properties LLC, owner and applicant, for 38 S 27th Street in the 16th Ward (Zoning District R2-VH).

Applicant requests new 10’ x 12’ deck at rear of single-family attached dwelling.

Variances: 903.03.E.2: Minimum 5’ exterior side setback required and 0’ requested.

Past Cases & Decisions: ZBA 238 of 2012, applicant’s request for seven new three-story single-family attached dwellings with two-car integral garages was approved.

Zone case 124 on Thursday, May 22 at 10:10 a.m. is the appeal of Sayer Real Estate, owner and applicant, for 1302 E Carson Street in the 17th Ward (Zoning District LNC).

Applicant requests building renovation; continued use of first floor as a restaurant (limited) and use of second and third floors as three residential dwelling units.

Variances: 914.02.A: Minimum three off-street parking spaces required and 0 requested.
