Market House planning dinner dance in March


The South Side seniors at the Market House celebrated Fat Tuesday during weekly Bingo by eating doughnuts and making masks and crowns.

These party animals will be having a Farewell Winter Dinner Dance on Tuesday March 25 from 4-8 p.m. for $10 per person. People 60 and older are welcome to call and sign up for the event by Tuesday, March 18.

African Drumming Class continues in the month of March, as well as Restoration and Relaxation and Mental Aerobics classes presented by a CCAC teacher.

The center continues to take weekly trips shopping, sightseeing and for entertainment. Regular activities include: Exercise, Ceramics and Computer classes, as well as a State of the Art Exercise Room and computers with internet service.

A hot lunch is served for a 50¢ donation and coffee is provided all day for 25¢. The Market House is a great place for adults 60 years and over to meet people and have new experiences with no registration fee.
