Kukurin will present on brain injuries at upcoming San Francisco conference
George W. Kukurin, a South Side chiropractic neurologist, will be presenting a case series of results his patients have obtained for symptoms of mild traumatic brain injuries at the 10th World Congress on Brain Injury to be held later this month in San Francisco.
The conference sponsor is the International Brain Injury Association (IBIA), which is dedicated to the development and support of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, advocates, policy makers and consumers who work to improve outcomes and opportunities for persons with brain injury. Dr. Kukurin has collaborated with the University of Wisconsin and other institutions to develop treatment protocols for patients suffering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
He has previously presented the results his protocols produce for his patients to doctors at medical conferences at Johns Hopkins Medical School, The Peripheral Nerve Society, an international organization of physicians and scientists working together to develop and provide the best treatments for people who have peripheral nerve diseases, and the International Neurotrauma Society, a worldwide organization of medical professionals dedicated to the research and treatment of neurological trauma.
