Carrick Branch Library has kids activities in Dec.


Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh- Carrick has a variety of kids activities planned in December.

Storytime is on Tuesdays, December 10 and 17 at 10:30 a.m. for toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers. Join in for stories, rhymes, songs, and more fun activities to build early literacy skills.

School-Age Fun: Kids Club is on Thursdays, December 12 and 19, 3:30 -4:30 p.m. for kids in grades K-5. Come in and check out the cool art projects, crafts, and more fun activities.

Kids Create: Cookies & Crafts is on Saturday, Dec. 21, noon –1p.m. Kids of all ages are welcome to come in and decorate a cookie and make a jolly holiday craft at the library. Advance registration is required. Call 412-882-3897 to register.

Teen Thing for teens in grades 6-12 is on Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Teens are welcome to come in and hang out for art projects, games, and snacks after school on Tuesdays.

Teen Think is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Teens in grades 6-12 can come in and earn volunteer time, eat pizza and help plan teen activities at the library.
