Carrick branch library hosting programs for toddlers to teens


Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh- Carrick will host a variety of programs for kids in pre-k through their teens in October.

School-Age Fun: Kids Club is for kids in grades K-5. Come to the library at 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays through October 24 for projects, crafts, games, and more. A new activity is planned for each week.

Pre-K Programs: Fall Storytime takes place on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. through October 22. Come in for stories, songs, rhymes, and more fun activities to nurture early learning skills. Recommended for toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers.

Teen programs for teens in grades 6-12 include: Teen Thing every Tuesday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

with art projects, snacks, and more for teens ages 12-18; Teen Think: Come check out the library’s Teen Advisory Council to eat pizza, talk about plans for programs and activities, and earn volunteer credit. This month they’re working on plans for this year’s Haunted Library. Teen Think meets onSaturday, Oct. 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m.;
