Warrington traffic will be restricted to one way until middle of September

Last updated 6/17/2013 at 12:42pm

Today, Tuesday, June 18, contractors are scheduled begin the next phase of rehab work on Warrington Avenue, focusing on the area between Beltzhoover and Arlington avenues.

This work will impact local auto traffic, bus routes, parking and sidewalks, and is expected to be completed in mid-September.

The road will be opened completely for a few hours Tuesday morning before new around-the-clock detours for auto traffic and bus routes go into effect at approximately 1 p.m.

Warrington Avenue is partially owned by Port Authority as it contains embedded light rail tracks formerly used by the Allentown line.
