Lane restrictions beginning June 19 for work on the 10th Street Bridge

The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today announced that

Traffic restrictions on the South 10th Street Bridge (Phillip Murray Bridge) will begin on Wednesday, June 19 when Allegheny County’s contractor, Advantage Steel, begins work on a $4 million rehabilitation project.

Vehicular traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction throughout the remainder of the project which is scheduled to be completed in December 2014. The project also includes the closure of one sidewalk at all times for their replacement, along with the replacement of bridge lighting and upgrades to the anchorage vaults.
